Wood-log cultivation method we adopt is a traditional method which plants shiitake mushroom's spawn into natural oak logs, not a method which grows the mushroom on synthetic sawdusts logs indoors under controlled conditions. Our shiitake mushrooms are delicious and have exquisite flavor and thick texture.

Giichi Nukui makes and sells green tea called Sayama-cha in Iruma-shi,Saitama.
He started to make log-grown shiitake mushrooms from 32 years old, and won the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Prize in 2001.
Currently, he does several activities to spread the delicious of the
log-grown shiitake mushrooms widely; for instance a lecture,a cultivation at an elementary school, etc.
